Information Technology - Universitas Gadjah Mada

MDP System Support Batch XIII

— Who I Am

Hi! I’m Aswan, a tech enthusiast with a background in Information Technology from Universitas Gadjah Mada, where I focused on building systems that bridge humans and digital environments. My academic journey culminated in a thesis on interactive facial animation, deepening my curiosity about how technology can bring more human qualities into digital experiences.

Beyond campus, I’ve had the opportunity to work in an international education program where I coordinated thousands of awardees spread across different time zones. This experience trained me not only in multitasking and cross-cultural communication, but also in system-level thinking that how tools, people, and processes interact in real-world scenarios.

I’ve always been drawn to enterprise systems, data, and how digital solutions can solve everyday operational problems. Whether it's making workflows more efficient, improving user experience, or supporting others through tech, I find satisfaction in turning complexity into clarity.

My goal is simple: to grow into someone who can make technology work for people, not the other way around.

— My Experience & Strengths

Experience / Skill What I Learned Relevance to Enterprise Environment
IT Background Learned fundamentals of software development, system architecture, and digital problem-solving. My thesis explored real-time facial animation using ML. Strong foundation for understanding how internal systems work, debugging logic, and communicating with technical teams.
IISMA Assistant Coordinator Managed over 55 host universities globally, handled communications, logistics, and remote issue resolution. Built project coordination and user-facing support experience, critical for navigating operational systems involving many stakeholders.
QA Testing & Automation Studied manual and automated testing using Selenium & TestNG. Practiced writing test cases, simulating user flows, and identifying edge-case bugs. Equipped to support internal testing processes, ensure system quality, and help bridge communication between users and developers.
Interest in SAP Functional Currently learning about SAP ecosystem, especially HANA and ABAP. Interested in business process mapping and backend customization. Relevant to large-scale ERP systems, shows long-term interest in integrating IT solutions into enterprise resource planning workflows.

— What I Can Contribute to Mayora

Here are the ways I believe I can bring meaningful and sustainable contributions to Mayora, based on my current training, technical background, and long-term growth mindset:

Operational & Technical Support

Training-backed and technically grounded, I aim to deliver lasting contributions.

With a foundation in IT and hands-on exposure to internal platforms, I can support daily operations by:

System Improvement & Digital Initiatives

I believe impact begins with small, consistent improvements.

I contribute by identifying inefficiencies and helping drive digital refinement through:

Learning-Driven, Growth-Oriented Contribution

I treat learning as a professional duty, not just a personal goal.

To grow with and within the company, I am committed to:

— My Vision at Mayora

When I first stepped into the world of systems and enterprise IT, I didn’t fully grasp how much goes on behind every smooth operation, how every input, every approval, every delay has a story behind it.

The more I learn, the more I realize that technology is not just about tools, but it’s about people, clarity, and making things work better together.

My goal is not to change everything overnight, but to keep asking the right questions, to improve what's already there, and to be someone others can rely on when systems get too complicated. I want to grow into a role where I can quietly make things easier, more efficient, and more human, one process at a time.

This is the kind of contribution I hope to build steady, grounded, and built on listening and learning. I don’t just want to do my job, I want to make my job matter, for the systems I support and the people who use them.

“Complexity is the enemy of performance. Simplicity and clarity are the allies of great work.” — Great at Work, Morten T. Hansen, p. 93
